February has been one of our slowest adoption months in recent memory. When dogs stay longer in foster care, it doesnā€™t just affect them ā€” it directly impacts how many new lives we can save. Every adoption opens a safe spot. When adoptions slow down, capacity tightens quickly.


And yetā€¦ weā€™re still saying yes.


Weā€™re able to continue pulling dogs from high-risk shelters because of our incredible repeat fosters ā€” the families who step up again and again. Their willingness to open their homes more than once is what keeps this rescue moving forward. They are the reason we can stretch responsibly and continue saving lives, even during slower seasons.


Right now, the most impactful ways you can help are simple but powerful: Adopt, Foster, Donate toward medical and boarding costs, Share our adoptables so they can be seen.


Every action creates space. Every share increases visibility. Every adoption makes room for the next life waiting at the shelter.

Ā Adoptable of the Month: Calvin šŸŒŸ


1.5 yo, 50 lbs, Kelpie mix


Calvin was adopted ā€” and then they gave him back.


He didnā€™t do anything wrong. He needed structure, guidance, and someone willing to put in the work.


He graduated from extensive training with Beauty & Her Beasts. In fact, by day two, he was walking calmly past other dogs ā€” and the team will continue working with his future adopter after adoption to ensure long-term success.

Calvin isnā€™t a ā€œproblem dog.ā€


Heā€™s a smart, loving, Kelpie mix (50lbs) who deserves someone who wonā€™t quit when things get hard. He is house and crate trained.

We have an amazing pup looking for a stable landing spot.


Capri is 2yo, 55lbs, and will need a foster starting mid-March after her board and train.Ā  She has learned manners and how to walk nicely on leash and live with other pups!Ā  Trainer support will be provided to help with pack integration through adoption.
