In addition to donating directly to Homebound Hounds, the following examples are other ways you can help!
Gifts of Life Insurance
If you have a life insurance policy that is no longer required, transferring it to HH may not only benefit the Rescue but also provide ways of tax deduction. Please consult with their tax advisor.
Give from your IRA
Since the gift doesn’t count as income, it can reduce your annual income level. This may help lower your Medicare premiums and decrease the amount of Social Security that is subject to tax.
Matching Employer Programs
Inquire with your employer to learn about their nonprofit donation offerings. For example, some will have a Matching Gift.
Airline Miles or Hotel Points
Contact your airline and lodging provider to learn more.
