Hello, 2026 — New Year. Same Mission. Bigger Impact.
As we step into a new year, we want to pause and express our deepest gratitude to the incredible partners, businesses, fosters, volunteers, and supporters who stood alongside Homebound Hounds throughout 2025. From hosting events and opening your spaces, to fostering, transporting, sharing our dogs, and donating time and resources—you made lifesaving possible. This mission has never been a solo effort, and we are endlessly grateful for the community that continues to show up for dogs who need it most.
At the same time, we want to be honest about the road ahead. Adoptions have slowed. The economy has tightened. Donations are harder to come by—and rescue everywhere is feeling it. We’ve felt it too. But our commitment has not changed. Every dog saved represents resilience, compassion, and a collective decision to keep going, even when it’s hard. As we move forward, one of the most powerful ways you can help is by sharing our dogs—every post shared helps them reach the right homes. We’re also in urgent need of fosters to continue saying yes to dogs on overcrowded shelter lists. Opening your home, even temporarily, creates the space that saves a life. Together, even in uncertain times, we remain the bridge between shelter dogs and the loving homes they deserve.

Meet Lobo, a handsome Cattle Dog mix (approx. one year old) weighing in at a perfect 50 pounds! He is a confident and lovable guy who hasn’t met a person he doesn’t like and is bound to bring so much joy into your life.
Lobo is a perfect balance of playful puppy energy and gentle affection. He loves romping around with other dogs, is wonderful with kids, and has an easygoing temperament that makes him a dream companion. His foster describes him as “snuggly, sweet, friendly, calm, and just a little distractible.”
If you’re looking for a pup who will be your loyal sidekick, cuddle buddy, and daily source of smiles, Lobo is your guy.

EMERGENCY PAWS - FOSTER URGENTLY NEEDED 🚨
We have an amazing pup looking for a stable landing spot.
Neyo is 1yo, 55lbs, and unfortunately his foster is being asked to go into the office starting the new year and he needs a safe landing spot. He is smart, loving, and does great with kids and other dogs.

Can I enter more than once?
Yes! Multiple entries are allowed and encouraged—each entry increases your chances to win and directly supports our lifesaving work.
Can the trip be gifted if I win?
Absolutely. If selected, the trip may be gifted to someone else.
When must the trip be used by?
The trip must be redeemed and used prior to June 30.
When will the winner be selected?
The drawing will take place on January 15.
Who is eligible to enter?
Entrants must reside in the United States or Canada.
